Sometimes I just sit and stare at it. 18" 5.56 OBR Order # 982XX Ordered 1/17/2013 Got the email from Dan on 9/11/14 Moved to Gun Room. Dan said should ship in 3-5 business days. (602 days) Happiness. |

It is when you look at the disparity between 7.62 orders completed vs 5.56 orders. LT put out almost 7-8 mos of 5.56 exclusively while all of us 7.62'rs have watched patiently with little movement. I'm glad you guys are getting your rifles, but these super small batches of 7.62 rifles compared to the onslaught of production on the other platform is disheartening at best...

My Larue 18 inch 7.62 OBR was delivered to my transfer dealer on 9-15 I picked it up on 9-17. This rifle order is on line 717 on the spreadsheet for all orders, and on line 604 of the rifle and upper spreadsheet. The rifle was ordered on 3-13-2013. It is a beautiful rifle. I am very happy with my purchase. It was worth the wait. I am looking forward to shooting it soon.

OK sports fans. Here is something for the tracking thread (not even sure if anyone updates the spreadsheet anymore). I received an email yesterday about 1730hrs CST about my 18" heavy tOBR being ready to build. I spoke to Dan this morning, and he confirmed a few things with me and said My Lower was headed to the GUN ROOM and should be "full term" in a couple days.
Order # 80,50X Order was Dec 2012 / account says 1 yr 39weeks original order was originally 18" HEAVY tAR somewhere between then and now I turned down a 16"er and a little this and that happened since and Presto......... My gun will be here soon. In "our" 18" HEAVY gun thread there are a few of us with future deliveries in the long fabled GUN ROOM GOOD LUCK and tight groups as fast as possible |

Just paid for my 7.62 PredatOBR, and it was sent to the "Gun Room." I'm guessing I'll be picking it up in a week or so.
Order #125XXX placed at the end of April, 2013 (~1 year 22 weeks). Can't wait! |
|
[#20]
That would be a big yes, but the recent movement is very encouraging.

Regaj, I tried to keep it basic with respect to parts on the rifle. When I first ordered the rifle I wanted a SOPMOD stock but was told if they didn't have any when the rifle was built, it could delay me. I opted for the CTR with a riser. I figured they would have plenty of them in stock. Guess I figured right : ) |
|
[#31]
I think you were wise, jhat. My guess is that availability of components for different rifle configs is what is complicating order delivery. The closer-to-stock weapons have a much better chance of going out as soon as the barrels become available.
I was pleased that the PRS stock and SOCOM muzzle brake I added to my order didn't cause too much delay. |

I think I got the standard tOBR "SWAG BAG" the real bonus was the test target, getting the "I outshot the shootist" dillo is prolly right up there with getting a teaspoon of unicorn milk .210.........that's smaller than the diameter of the bullet. I've seen good guns chucked up into sleds that will never achieve that. THANK YOU to Mark and all the staff that makes this kind of consistent quality become reality. That kind of stuff DOES NOT happen on accident. P.S. I'll be looking to see if I make the "best of the week" pic. I def will try to save it to make my screen saver. Would be quite an honor! monk |

I am glad that mine was a .613" It gave me a fighting chance. .210" is going to be tough but at least we know the accuracy potential of our LT Rifles! |

To clarify It did NOT receive the "I out shot the shootist" dillo. I do think the LT Shootist has his shit together though, maybe he should get a "Ain't nobody beatin that" Dillo. I wonder if the shootists stay caffeine free in the mornings, think I read in this forum ML has a Keurig around every corner............he must keep his shootists stocked with "unleaded" cups.
I don't think I'll beat the shootist. So when I'm able, I'll concentrate on getting my mil holds / dope and such straight. Do a little write up on my observations and post a few pics of how I set it up. Sucks I won't be able to shoot it for about 2 weeks. We did sit together all day yesterday on the couch till I had to go to work......yeah, I ain't wrapped too tight Happy Shootin, monk |

Please don't take this personal but I literally nearly drove a HMMWV off the road into a ditch when an email popped up from LT that I thought was my ready to ship notification...it was only a product review email and I didn't need to drink coffee for days. And I don't even have "it" bad as some people here, I'm on step 7 and the bad ones can't get past step 1 on the recovery program. |
