I just learned dreadful news that John Noveske passed away last night.
" It's over in GD ." . If there's a silver lining it's that no one else got hurt. Prayers out to his family. A sad day ... we are diminished. ML |

The past month has just been bad all around.
Prayers for his family. |

What sucks about this is it won't get any media coverage unless he had some rifles in his truck or one of his rifles was used in a massacre, but to us, whose second home is ARFCOM, who have either known John which I never got the pleasure of meeting, or own one of his products, I do, He was a celebrity or star in our world and will be deeply missed. My condolences to his family in this terrible tragedy.

Holy shit..
Prayers for his family. Sad day indeed. Always wear your seatbelts. I have had known three people who have died in the past year from lack of a seatbelt. |

Very sad indeed. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. |

“Noveske Rifleworks would ask you to remember the passing of our founder, John Noveske, who died Friday, January 4th 2013 in an automobile accident.”
“John planned for all eventualities, and wanted to ensure any changes would be as seamless as possible for our customers, dealers, suppliers, employees and friends. While this will be a trying time, we do not expect a change in the day to day operations of Noveske Rifleworks. We would like to thank you for your support as we deal with our loss, and would ask that instead of flowers, you consider a donation to a cause we will announce at later date.” “John was more than just the founder of Noveske Rifleworks, he was a loving husband and father, and caring friend.” Off the gearscout page. |

Very sad.
It boggles my mind that someone that has been around awhile wouldn't wear seat belts. The first fatal collision you see up close as you go through life would usually be enough to make you religious about wearing them. RIP. |

RIP John...you will be lost. We in the LE community will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers this day...
