Maybe you should ... if it's the other side of any LaRue situation, like Democrats, they are always the reasoned, thoughtful ones, with a geat sense of humor ...
... if it's the LaRue side, we're all rabid, foam-at-the-mouth-breathers.

Whatever - I get it, the situation was defined long ago and I am just a dumbazz observer.

It is what it is.

I just saw/read through this thread, and I have to say I'm a little bewildered. KAC made a sticker that took a jab at one of the most outspoken individuals in the industry and because I found it funny I'm a troll?

That's nonsense. If you look at any rifle picture I've posted since '08 I'm willing to bet there's a LaRue mount in there somewhere. I mentioned this is another thread, but I'll restate it- I have not once badmouthed Mark LaRue, or his team, and never will. In fact, you will see quite the opposite as any comment I've made is all positive to the extent of wishing him luck toward catching KAC's share of the market. If that's not positive, I'm not sure what is.

I've been called a piece of work, I've been called shitty, I've been called classless, and apparently Mark wants to cancel UHFO because I found another competitor's press photo to be humorous. That's his call to make, but it seems unreasonable. However, he seemed to be taking it pretty well in the GD thread, so how knows, maybe this is all in good fun.

I have no ill will towards anyone here or there, and will continue to buy their products when they fit my needs.

RA- thanks for sticking up for me while I was away.

This is the internet and its peanut gallery so I expect a menagerie of comments, but at least I've now had my say.

As someone who said it was classless, I will respond.
I believe that as a former winner you are / were held to a higher standard. Just the fact that it was you who posted the thread made many people go .
The longer these threads get the more rabid and blurry the lines become. I do believe (1) the sticker being a poke and (2) the fact that you posted it, became a swirl of emotions and snowballed.
Both camps have immense pride and rightfully so.

I hold no hard feelings as well. Just wanted to state my 2 cents. (I still think the sticker is dumb though. )

Edit to add: Good on you for coming in to post that.

I appreciate your time.

I can see where some may hold me or others to a higher standard, and in some ways we should. If anyone put out a downright insult to the LT I'd be there with you guys defending the company's merits. I did not and do not see this as an insult. Its a freakin sticker KB, I assume, had made for funnies. It's not an evil death machine, but a message that gave me a ROFL wow.

If I offended Mark or the LT crew, I apologize; that was not my intent.

As a happy owner of a SR-15 (that has sling mounts like chicken pox), and patiently waiting for my PredatOBR, I thought it was a good zinger. Who hasn't flipped his buddy some crap every now and then?

99 percent of us have been kicking back having a good chuckle at all of this. In both threads you'll notice its like 5 people that really have a problem with it. But granted, they REALLY have a problem with it.

Zero-Three-Zero,

My issue was the imposters calling me everything but a hillbilly on that Gear Scout comments page.

Otherwise, it looked like the beginnings of a stupid dog trick, just without the paper towels required for a full clean-up.
