Since LT don’t sell lowers anymore , what lower would the hide recommend? Would like a good quality one.

Well most lowers, if they are in spec as 99.9% are, are about the same. The question really is do you want a forged or billet lower?

Mega and Arfcom Billet lowers look really nice.

Do you want a forged lower, well there are alot of nice ones for very reasonable prices, like Del-Ton, Palmetto State Armory etc. The Noveske forged Gen II lower I personally feel is a great looking lower.

Do you want Ambi controls?

/edit to add/––- I have a Del-ton lower (bought years ago when they were running a great sale) on my 16" Stealth and it locks up like a bank vault. Very nice tight fit between the upper and lower. YMMV.

If you don't want to wait for LT to do lowers again, and you want something similar, SMOS used to make them for LT... Mega and AXTS ambi's are pretty tight... for forged, there are too many to list

Mine is going on a Mega with an SS-E.

I bought a arfcom billet lower for my 20" Larue Stealth upper.

I like it a lot.

Thanks guys, some good questions too. I am looking for a billet lower with ambi. Checked out the Arfcom one and it looks sweet, that might be the way I am going to go.

I really don't know why Mark doesn't have another group of machines to do lowers non stop. You would think he couldn't keep them on the shelf.

Anyway, I'd reccommend a Noveske Gen2

Does anyone really think they're going to deflect bullets with their cooter?

Knights makes a great lower. There's a guy on GB selling complete lowers for under 700.

These have QD lugs on the back of the lower. 2 stage triggers, Magpul stocks, ambi bolt, mag release, and selectors

I have a Noveske G2 on mine. It's so tight I had to buff down the anodizing on the lug some. It feels like it's one piece it's so tight.
