When ML or Fingar tells us. Everything else I treat as rumor/speculation. Agreed, which is why I posted that as a response to ML. I just called before looking at the latest post, so I didn't get a name. It wasn't JP or the usual guys, but I got a 6 month quote even on an LE purchase. I placed my order on 3/15/12. He told me they did not have a real wait time, but were expecting at least 6 months. |

I put a deposit down & ordered my PredatOBR 6 weeks ago from my local dealer and was also quoted 14 weeks (after they spoke directly with one of your staff while I was waiting in the store) - if I'd have been quoted double that at the time of purchase, I may still have placed my order; but, I do have problem with being told one thing and nearly half way through the wait, hearing a completely different story without clarification from LT's end - especially knowing, that you know, these 6 month rumors are being tossed around. I know you're monitoring these forums, so why not lay to rest the issue to help quench the consumer angst? CHeers R |

I remember calling LaRue on March 13 and asking when they would be taken orders for PredatOBRs. The man I spoke to (I think JP, don't quote me that was 2 months ago)
said he had no idea, they were still months and months away from even taken preorders on them, that a lot of work still had to go into starting the manufacturing for them. Then 2 days later on March, 15 LaRue begins taken orders for PredatOBRs
Few days later when I spoke to Juli about my FFL info I asked her about delivery times, she said they were hoping and telling people 14 to 16 weeks on all rifles right now. I'm hoping for 14 to 16 weeks. |

I talked to them today to change furniture color on my order. I asked them about the wait and what the reason was. I was told they were trying to catch up on backorders, trying to keep up with current orders and that they had a couple more things to "tweak" on the chasis. Thats when I got confused. What would they have to tweak on the Predatar chasis? I kinda see it like this, the Ranger rifles were made, so there is the 7.62 version figured out, and Costa got his rifle, so there's the 5.56 version figured out. So what exactly do they have left to figure out or tweak? By the way, I read on LT's facebook page, that after about 16,000 rounds, Costa has rebarreled his rifle. So with one and a half times the claimed barrel life, and knowing Costa runs the hell out of a gun, I'd say the Predatobr's will be a screaming success, whenever they get here.

Im in for a 7.62 preditOBR 18inch barrel od green furniture. I am hating the wait but that gun is awesome, so however long it takes is worth waiting. I did decide to buy a new 1911 to ease my pain a little. If that wont work ill get another gun to fill in the gap. I had to wait over 9 months for each kid to see if they were mine
Is it bad I own 1000 dollars in hornady ammo for a gun I may not see for months on end. |

I check my order daily and I see now that my order is in queue. Does that mean they are in production now? I called last week and they said they don't even have a release date on it. I wanted to go ahead and pay the damn thing off so I won't have to worry about not having the money when it's ready to be shipped. I ordered a 16 inch 7.62 with sure fire muzzle brake. I'm stoked. My first AR.
