Yeah, but as far as we know, Mark isn't married to a soldier.
Keep in mind that my opinion is worth what you paid for it.

All this being said, I don't understand why folks buy Discrete Covert rifle cases in "militaryish" colors...
Agreed

The LT logo ruins this case for me. With the old one you could just take a seam ripper and take off the velcro. Not sure what you could do with this.

Me thinks the logo is on the inside...

Looked again. It appears you're right.

I still don't get buying a "covert" case in tactical colors.

I don't think they are tactical colors. I personally wouldn't wear bright red or blue clothing to begin with let alone buy the same colors for luggage or backpacks, tactical purpose or not.

Just because Larue calls it the covert rifle case doesn't mean it has to be used to be "covert".
I prefer the "militaryish" colors, they blend better in nature

You must not travel much? The more individual a piece of luggage can be, the better. I don't understand how people still buy black luggage and don't mark it in any other way. When my bag comes around the carousel there is never a doubt it may belong to someone else (but I do check, to be sure).

Guess I am not that retarded to not be able to spot my luggage. I use pelican storm cases as luggage.

Also, I got the new case in yesterday. I prefer the older version better.

Was hoping for my Charcoal case to ship this week, at least now it may have a chance to go on next month's credit card bill (rolls over on the 25th).

My blue case arrived earlier this week so here's a terrible pic with my predatar thrown into it. I'm glad the inside of the new blue cases are still black like the old ones.

It sounds like the cases are coming in in color batches... Spoke to Luke last week, who told me HOPEFULLY tge Charcoals will be coming in sometime this week.

I'm pretty sure there will be an email or maybe a phone call, but anyone else that ordered a charcoal, would you let the rest of us know when you get your notification?

My order status has gone from BACKORDER to FRONT OFFICE?

Do I need to hide my dags or something?

ETA: Nope, need to pay my damned card down, or use another one... Should have my "SHIPPED" email shortly...

Tracking number issued!

Now to have it in hand for this weekend!

ETA: ETA on the Charcoal (told I was the #4 order for Charcoal) case is this coming Thursday by end of the day. Guess I'll be staying up Thursday night getting it all set up for a range trip on Friday!

I found someone local selling a tan one. I'll be picking it up this weekend. Reportedly new from the wrapper. Says his 18" didn't fit so, his loss is my gain.

I can confirm this. My 18" with SF brake is too long.
