I just received my new T-1 660 combo, there is thread locker & a extra screw included. Do I need to disassemble the mount & add the thread locker or has this been done already? Also is the screw just a spare? Awesome packaging by the way!

STOP !!!

Before you remove those screws call LaRue and ask them if they used the thread locker. I removed my LaRue mount that I installed myself (I used threadlocker) and I stripped the holes on the Micro T1 (not LaRue's fault). Aimpoint ended up replacing my optic for me. If you need to remove the screws for any reason I would heat them with a soldering iron first. As per Aimpoint's tech department never re-use the screws and always make sure the treads are clean before inserting new screws into the Micro T1

I was hoping this was the case, just wanted to be sure.
