Yeah for some odd reason my hands get quite toasty, BUT on the plus side I can get my hands fully around the barrel for positive control!
Put it all back together this AM after letting the barrel soak in some CLP. All good now. The acetone to clean the original krylon off left some surface rust. I traded my 16" upper for an un-fired 18" upper from a friend, but it was kyrlon'd and had to be stripped when I had the upper re-painted. |

When you reinstall are you using a torque wrench or the 1/2 a turn from strip method?
