I'm considering ordering a 18" 7.62 but I'm curious about one thing, when does LaRue charge your card? I can't remember from my PredatAR order. I'd hate to be out $3k for 5 months with nothing to show for it...

Ordered my 16" 5.56 OBR from a dealer on 12/9. Supposedly shipped 3/16 and I'll have it tomorrow.

Ordered my 20" 7.62 OBR on 3/23 and was quoted 14-16 weeks then decided to order my optics setup / other goodies the next day to give my bank account some time to recover before I got charged for the gun itself. I think I got enough to get me started
- Nightforce NXS 5.5-22 x 50 with zero stop - LT111-30 QD scope mount - Ergo "ambi" grip - Magpul PRS stock -Surefire MB762-211C muzzle brake / adapter - Harris BRM-S BiPod with LaRue QD mount - Index clips and hand stops Now if only I had something to put them on.... 
Spoke with a gentleman today at LaRue and he told me I would most likely have my rifle way sooner than I was quoted  |

Broke down and ordered the 5.56 OBR 16'. Was told 16 weeks. Setting the countdown timer for July 23rd ! Ah , patience...

I did get my OBR on 3/20 after 102 of the longest days I've ever waited through. Local dealer where I ordered it supposedly called Larue on 3/16 and after getting the run-around from whoever answered the phone asked for a manager. Manager looked up the order and supposedly discovered the order had "slipped through the cracks" somehow and assured the dealer it would get shipped that same day. The dealer received it 2 business days later. All of this seems strange to me. OBR arrived with a RISR stock and grip adapter panels that I hadn't asked for but will enjoy none-the-less. Good luck to all you folks still waiting!!! |

well, I just blew my OBR fund on a 300 win mag, so hopefully the backup is gone by the time my fund is rebuilt
