I just received a link to an LT-622 in my email:

Same here.
I cant even find that model mount or that style "armorers wrench" on the LaRue website. |
|
I wouldn't deal with Botach if they sold free sex with cheerleaders....they are scum.

|
That's shocking news! I have to admit that they are about 90% with me on orders/customer service (meaning 90% of the time they fuk something up).
If they were selling free sex with cheerleaders, they would be CA-Compliant and probably from a seedy stripclub close to their "Corporate Offices" on Crenshaw Blvd. |
|
I am not even sure if that is a business, seemed like a big scam to me. After weeks of waiting I called to find out some of my items were backordered so nothing shipped, then it was a nightmare getting refunded. They wouldn't answer calls, e mails or voicemails. Not a chance I would ever deal with them again.
ETA: I dain't got no grammar |

Rather than make this about Botach.
Why is there no LT-622 on the LaRue website? What is the story with that "armorers tool?" |
|
That is the same mount and wrench that I received from LT for my TA-11H. Its a plastic piece that holds both wrenches for levers and screws. I've had good experience ordering from Botach but that said, I always order LT products directly from LT.

LT has a lot of products that are not shown on the website but are sometimes available outside military channels. I had to wait a year to get my LT-644 (Mount for 6X ACOG.) I had to call to get the LT-622-SDO. I threw the wrench in junk bin but if I can find it I will post some pics assuming someone doesn't beat me to it. |
|
Shouldn't the locking levers be on the other side? I only have 1 SPR mount (for now), so it may be different but my locking levers fold to the rear and are on left side of my AR...
After some research I see the ACOG mounts do have the levers on the right side of the weapon... I stand corrected... Looks like the LT106... |

What's the difference between the LT-622 and LT-100? About $40 |

Nothing from Larue? They are probably busy trying to figure out what dealer resold to botach so they can close their account. |

F**K BOTACH Really? Have you personally had a negative experience with them? |

F**K BOTACH Really? Have you personally had a negative experience with them? Yes I have... I have as well. I ordered night sights for my glock 17 and they sent me sig sights. I called they admited the mistake and told me to send them back and they would send the right ones out. I sent them in and after 2 weeks called them. Once again they admitted that they screwed up and that they had got mine back but had never sent me the right ones but that they would get them out right away. another 2 weeks goes by and I'm getting pissed so I call them and complain. They told me to be patiant and I would get them in the next couple of weeks. I got them 3 weeks later. so I guess with that I will add, F**K BOTACH! |
|
LaRue doesn't make the LT-622 ACOG-R mount anymore AFAIK. I have one, the difference is the levers are on the same side as the ejection port. I've never had any problems whatsoever with this ACOG mount.

I hear a lot of negative things about BOtach, but I have never had any bad experience with them. Granted, I have only made two purchases from them, but still. I ordered a holster and got it in a few days. I ordered night sights for my P99 Walther and got that in about 3 days too. Too bad. that happened to you. |

Nothing from Larue? Dunno, news to me. Lookin' it to it. ML Mark, FWIW my industry friends have alleged that Botach gets around MAP with the following scheme. The find some small shop, like bubba's cotton hollow guns, to sign up for a dealer account. That shop places a huge order but they are really just acting as a middle man for Botach. That way Botach can sell below MAP and there is nothing the manufacturer can do except try to trace where Botach got the parts and close that FFL's account. In the meantime botach simply finds a new shill to repeat the process. |
|
How come the levers are going the wrong way, and there's no model designation on it?
ETA: I see from other posts that this is apparently some special mount. |
|
That doesn't surprise me if you start reading about the Botach clan and all of their enterprises from coast to coast. They do cash in by being a DOD Contractor though.

A NIB Larue ACOG mount for that price is a no brainer. Just placed an order for two.

ML a friend of mine came to me last year and asked if i could match an *on-line* price for a H-1. i said sure i could, Aimpoint has MAP. i'm good to go, right? NOPE! Blowtach was selling the H-1 WITH that POS kz mount at just about $425. that's right, the on-line retail price was dealer cost (or below for us small time guys). that tells me that they were getting them at the Quantity Buyer price. i called Aimpoint on it and my contact (sales person) is a MIL sales guy, not a CIV sales guy. he didn't know much about it but said he would look into it. not much i could do after that so i just moved on and put it out of mind. later last year i had another guy that wanted one at that price again so i said "well, F* me". i told him to go ahead and get it. that turned out to be a rather drawn out cluster fuck for him. i tried to call and help him out but it still went sideways. those guys are a total waste of human flesh. he wanted a LT mount for it and he ended up getting the H-1 at a good price (post cluster fuck) then picked up the LT mount later. they also run a shill Amazon store.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/shops/storefront/index.html comp M4 @ $688, did i miss the new MAP? also it's kinda funny that the altatac area code is for the same place (CA) as blowtach. if it's not the same place it's an amazing coincidence. edit: spellin |

Quoted: Not for nothing, but I've never agreed with MAP. I figure - if my business model calls for me to sell ten widgets and make $10 apiece, while my competitor's business model calls for him to sell a hundred widgets and make $5 apiece, the marketplace will decide which one of us has the more profitable business model. I guess that's just me.Quoted: Mark, FWIW my industry friends have alleged that Botach gets around MAP with the following scheme. MAP serves several functions. either way, agree with it or not, it's still a contract. a contract is not only legal but it's (in my eyes) a mans word. if you're not honest and you pull shit like that, how can you be trusted? a man (or business) is only as good as their word. if they'll lie once, they'll lie anytime. that's why LT gets my business... you can trust the man! that's how i run my business..... |

I have been about 60-40% positive with botach. Granted I haven't ordered much from them, but about 60% of the orders went smooth from start to finish. About 40% though were assed up from day one. They are the LAST place I look for stuff.

After weeks if not getting a shipping notice, or a your sh!t is on backorder notice or anything, I emailed a few times, Nothing in return... Then started calling... When I finally did get someone, they acted like I was bothering them... Then I started asking for my charge card to be refunded... Finally, when I threatened to call my CC company and the BBB all the products showed up at my door... After this, I read a few good reviews and more than a few bad reviews.... I know, YMMV... Well, your milage might, mines not going too... I dunno, maybe Larue just has me spoiled... The other sites can bitch about Marks Attitude and pricing being a bit higher, but if I continue to get great products, great communications, great customer service and forum support and love like I have been getting... I will gladly shop and recomend Larue 1st.... PS. a few days back I got an email from Blowtac on a sale on Aimpoint T1s, for like 30-40 cheaper than anywhere else, plus 10 Free 30 rnd PMags Color of your choice... The addition of the 10 free Pmags almost put me over, but I remembered my last order... I'll spend a few more bucks and get it and the mount I know I'll be happy with from LT... |

Tate Defense sells under eBay user name Altatac....both are Botach shill companies as well. Pricing is below MAP I'm sure also. Botach gets family members to start businesses in different names and are supplied by Botach.

and further more i don't have an issue being outspoken about how they conduct their business or what i think of the company. it's time Americans started acting like Americans and put a boot to businesses like this. dishonesty has never been okay in my book and things like this really piss me off. buyer be warned about what you get (or may not get). |
