Cool!
Few questions: 1. Can older/current mounts be fitted with this? 2. Any weight savings over current lever mounts? 3. I know current lever mounts are bulletproof, but might these prove to be more so? |

I could see this for my ACOG, since I have no other optics for it. Would save my knuckles when charging.
But for flashlights, bipods, etc, I would definately leave the QR levers on for quick customization... |

Now I gotta go out and buy more stuff to mount, 'cause every, single mount I have is a LaRue already!
Keep the innovations coming, Mark!!!! |

Could the QD levers be added later on to the VFZ mounts?

Yes, quite a bit cheaper. That could be a key thing for a lot of us who are just outfitting range toys, especially with today's economy. |

So they're basically regular rings (albeit high quality ones), but instead of the traditional screw to tighten, you tighten a tension nut instead.
ETA: right? |

Same for me, I'd have a ton of LaRue stuff, but for what I would use it for, I can't justify the price, when i look at how much ammo i dont have, and could get with the money! |
