I'll just leave this right here: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7202/6827328726_babaac8fce_b.jpg Nice man, What are you using to mark your screws? |
|
Testors enamel paint pen.
Works well and comes off easily with some Hoppes no 9. Just need to get a scope that isn't pure ass. |

It's a TMR reticle, with MOA turrets...in half MOA adjustments. Yeah...have fun with that.

The pen mark is to be able to visually see if your screws are backing off.

Why not mark it? Nothing is guaranteed––-including staking jobs.

Not really. I've been in a class with a friend running a poorly staked receiver plate. The plate stayed in position while the castle nut spun back a bit, then the stock took a whack and locked the whole gun up.
It's cheap insurance, it took 2 seconds to mark it, but could save my ass in a class or worse. If anyone wants to argue against that, have fun. |

I'd be interested in seeing your feedback on that reticle after some range time.
|
|
I'll let ya know how it goes. I still have not tried it out yet, I just got it this week. Hopefully in 2 weeks I can make it out to the range, I got too much going on now. |

I'd be interested in seeing your feedback on that reticle after some range time. I'm running the LV Ret. on a NF 2.5-10X32 and it is a solid choice. A little slow due to how thin the hashes are, but overall I am very pleased with it. I also run a NF 3.5-15X50 MLR and NF 1-4X24 FC-2, the LV is a nice choice for the OBR. I use mine mostly on my steel gun which is LMT MWS. |
