Testors enamel paint pen.
Works well and comes off easily with some Hoppes no 9. Just need to get a scope that isn't pure ass. |

It's a TMR reticle, with MOA turrets...in half MOA adjustments. Yeah...have fun with that.

The pen mark is to be able to visually see if your screws are backing off.

Why not mark it? Nothing is guaranteed––-including staking jobs.

Not really. I've been in a class with a friend running a poorly staked receiver plate. The plate stayed in position while the castle nut spun back a bit, then the stock took a whack and locked the whole gun up.
It's cheap insurance, it took 2 seconds to mark it, but could save my ass in a class or worse. If anyone wants to argue against that, have fun. |
