La Rue Mounts are the absolute best that can be had.

Is it ok to keep switching optics on a gun using the larue mounts, or will this wear out the rail and/or the mount levers as well?

It won't wear out neither one and yes, it's fine to keep switching them. That's what they're for ... that, and a can't-be-beat method for mounting stuff to a picatinny rail. Do be sure to put them right back in the same linear location they we're sighted in at. Picatinny rails are pretty straight, but not perfect, thus you need to pay attention to the detail of same location. |

Im new to the mounts and scopes since i have always used irons sights
but after some good direction by Darkcloudm4 and playing with the toys at Range day, i will be looking at purchasing some LT mounts and not even waste my money with anything else. |

So this Monday morning I went back and forth between my Burris MTAC and SFWA 10x42 on 3" pasters at 100y and steel at 355y. Then went to the desert and went back and forth between both optics on a steel target at over 600y.
Oh, did I mention the LT104 mounts used on both optics :) |

One of these days, I'll complete my dream setup and have an RCOM4CP on a LT681 for 5.56 and a T1 on an LT751 for 6.8 on my ACR.
