I'll be shocked if they make it through tonight.
Does anyone know what the color strip on the slides designates? I have seen that on several Israeli trades. |

PLEAAAASE LET MINE BE PURDY! handpick dont fail me now. indeed Of course, as long as she shoots well, I'll be happy. i've got an old 226 from the 80s that certainly has some slide and finish wear but overall not major....if i get that i'm super happy. otherwise i might just send it off to sig for refinishing. |
|
Almost missed out on a 228, been out of the house all day. My order went through, so hopefully I got one.
Edit: Beretta 84's are sold out. |
|

Unless it is in a lot better shape than the photos show, I will be Cerakoting mine. Just have to figure out what color or blend to use.

Do you do locally or send off or what and how much do you usually pay? same question for others....I got some wildly varying quotes at gun show couple weekends ago and kind turned me off......but still interested |

I have a pretty good chunk of change invested in my personal setup and consider it an extension of my hobby. I can't help with the cost, but would guess $150 +/-, though maybe a little more for the higher end shops. Just a guess. |

that was about what I figured seemed fair as a median range. It seemed to me for that they expected the pistol completely stripped down to slide and frame and you give them parts to be done only. I have a few now I want to do this to so I guess I need to start looking into it. I def cant afford getting into that world of doing it myself right now as if I could afford I would probably lean towards reloading first. :) thanks for response

If you are just doing small projects like pistols, you are even better off. Use your home oven to bake the parts, methanol to degrease, a small $100 blasting cabinet, $20-$30 for a HF detail gun, and a few hundred for a used Craigslist 2 stage compressor. It won't be optimal and will be slower going, but doable. Do you have 220 in your garage? |

What's up today Bryan? Edit- Looks like some Glock 40 S&W trade-ins added to the previously owned handgun page. http://www.aimsurplus.com/catalog.aspx?groupid=212&name=Used+Hand+Guns |
