Just replied to your email and again, our profuse apologies for this inconvenience. It's not characteristic for us or AIM.
Were scratching our heads on the extension and look forward to its analysis. My first thought is that this one did not go through a heat-treat process to harden it (we do buy extensions from suppliers). Either way, it made its way through multiple checks and should have been caught.
