Are there going to be any G17s available?
Would rather have the full size as my first Glock, but don't want to miss out on the G19 if that's all there is. |

They hold only 2 more rounds, don't conceal even close to as easily as a 19, and the 19 shoots just as well as the 17 for damn near everyone. Plus you can use G17 mags in it. I've never understood why they even make that pistol except to compete in full size government contract competitions. |

Love my 17. And now I shall see what all this G19 nonsense is about.

Thanks for the advice PeekaBoo! I went ahead and ordered one. Only Glock I have ever shot was a G17 which I really liked, but I hadn't considered the easier concealement of the G19. At any rate, this is a good deal on a good pistol so I couldn't resist.

Wait til your hands grow up then you won't be able to fit the 19 comfortably. And I got one on the way for my son. Hopefully this one won't have a tragic boating accident also. Oh and thanks Bryan for all you do. |

Right, thats why there is usually a 15-20% difference in raw times in matches between guys shooting G17 size guns and guys shooting G19s. 19 has its place, but don't drink too much coolaid. Its less gun in every way except concealment. |

Did anyone who got the hand pick option get their gun yet? I'm wondering if it was worth the extra cash.
|
|
[#19]
I swear that hand pick option wasn't there when I ordered mine last week. Or I'm just blind and ordered too quickly when I saw them available.
Oh well. Either way I'm sure they're all nice considering their age. |

[#20]
I got mine 40 minutes after the product arrival notification email and the handpick option was there. I got it. Hopefully it's ready to pickup early this week.

So I'm going to guess the darn things were hardly ever shot. Mine should be in soon. |
