I do have a j arm as well. I guess my question would be-are the more expensive mounts and shrouds worth the $$? Should I just run what I have at first? Or am I just going to be disappointed with lack of adjustment or wobble or whatever. Sounds like they are worth the money if you are talking about some wobble. I just don't know what would be reasonable to spend on the Crye night cap set up or a bump helmet set up. I have no need for a ballistic helmet....I look at ya'lls website constantly-but there is just an overload of cool stuff.

Use the Rhino first.
If it works for you, then it works for you.
Worst case scenario, it makes you appreciate the expensive mounts you buy to replace it all the more.
I do not use Rhinos any more - but I did for many years, and now have a disturbingly affectionate relationship with my Wilcox mounts... so, I don't know if that will be perceived as a vote for or against buying a new, more expensive mount...
Point is, the Rhino is a serviceable, if spartan, piece of kit.
IMHO, if and when you choose to upgrade, I would skip the G11, and go straight to a dovetail compatible mount, but that's just me. Wilcox has greatly improved the USGI bayonet mounting interface on the G11... but it's still a USGI bayonet mounting interface.
I'm also not a big fan of FTO, but that's neither here nor there.
