Cutaway view helps to identify what makes the P415 a robust platform and understand how it operates.
This is what makes the P415 a "System" and not a "Parts Kit".

Simple regulated short stroke gas piston design having only 3 parts all coming out the front of the gas block.

Oversize Heat Sink barrel Nut that does three functions. Reduces/Radiates Heat, Guides the Op-Rod (almost 4" of guidance), and helps to Reduce Flex / Stress, with our free floating, two piece M.R.R. (Modular railed Receiver) Platform.
The free floating, two piece M.R.R. (Modular Railed Receiver) with backbone, is 5X's thicker then a Mil-Spec flattop upper.
M.R.R (Modular Railed Receiver), is .300" thick between charging handle and top of M.R.R..
The mil-spec flat to upper is .06" thick between the charging handle and the bottom of the picatinny slots.

The free floating, two piece M.R.R., having a continuous one piece top rail, sleeving onto the oversize heat sink barrel nut, and indexing and attaching to the lower portion of the two piece upper receiver provides a extremely robust platform, that helps to eliminate flex and stress in the barrel extension/bolt area of the upper receiver. The cutaway view helps to identify how and why.
The M.R.R. takes less then 3 minutes to assemble.
Offering Professional Grade Weapon Systems since 2004.

Not the best photo, but this shows the relative thickness of the POF and standard M4 uppers, as described above.

What is your budget, and what do you want to do with the rifle? These are the questions you must answer before purchasing anything.
