I bought one of your RUC1s back in the day with your muzzle brake pinned/welded (I got a serial number I'm happy about too btw!). Now I need to get that RA muzzle brake removed and have an AAC Blackout/Brakeout MD pinned\welded on my RUC pencil barrel. The pencil barrel was an option, per request iirc.
My question is: Are the muzzle device threads on that pencil barrel concentric or "close enough" for a new suppressor mount (to avoid end cap strikes, etc)?
I really have considered going with an entirely new upper, but am loving the light weight barrel, plus the added cost of a new upper is a consideration too, of course. I know the pencil barrel may cause issues for a repin/reweld of an AAC Blackout/Brakeout, which is a "pro" for getting an entirely new upper with a non-pencil barrel. Thanks in advance.
eta the suppressor will be an AAC Mini-4 when it gets outta jail. Should be a great lightweight 14.5" setup, hence the whole pencil barrel "want".
