Took it out last week for it's first range session. I swapped out the pistol grip and stock, no other changes besides that. 89 total rounds, ran like a champ. 49 rounds of 150gr handloads, 20 rounds FGMM 168SMK, and 20 rounds of Southwest Ammunition 175SMK. Best 5 round 100 yard group was .79 with Southwest Ammunition 175SMK. Shot about 50 rounds off the bench to get some groups with the Bushnell, and then dial in the Aimpoint. The brake is very effective, but super loud. Dot tracked like a 5.56, just a lot more rearward push, so I had to be a little bit more aggressive with my stance.
I think I could squeeze a little bit more out of the rifle if I would have went prone with some bags and used a stock with a better cheekweld. Ain't nobody got time for that though.
Overall, very impressed with the rifle. I've since added a Norgon ambi mag release, surefire M600U on a thorntail mount, KAC 45 degree offset sights, and Leupold Mk6 1-6 is on order. Pretty good battle rifle setup, it will be my primary 308 until my KAC SR25 ECC shows up.
