Any plans to offer the Evolution or Apex modular handguards in rifle length?

Also, how are the Apex handguards in terms of heat transfer?

They just posted it in the New AR Products section.

Yes, we will be receiving both in rifle lenth. Samson will be making a version of the Evolution that will be exclusive to Rainier Arms.

The Apex handguards attach to a standard barrel nut, so the heat transfer is similar to any other railed handguard that utilizes the barrel nut. The Evolution, however, has a heat sink/sleeve that goes over the barrel nut that does wonders for heat transfer. Very efficient and lightweight.

That has my attention. Can you share anything about it? What about an ETA?

No ETA yet. We are still working on finalizing the design. The size, shape and weight will be approximately the same. The cutouts, however, will be different.

Damn...another option that I'm going to have to consider.
Will it be similar in weight to a Troy/VTac rifle length handguard?

I like the cutouts on the RA15, and asked myself why you didnt go with little "Rainier" cutouts...may be cool

Yeah! I just preordered as well! Is there an ETA?

What about side rails and such? I didn't see anything like that to add to my basket to group into one shipped order.

No ETA yet, but they are in production. We'll be carrying the side rail pieces just as soon as we get the railed handguards in!

Not at the present moment. If there is enough demand we will explore adding it to our line.

Any word on the weight of these? I might want to use one of these for my 6.8 build if the weight is right. I'll be looking for a 12" setup myself.

Not at this point, but that's a great idea. We're still waiting on our UltraMatch barrels to roll in.

Any ETA's yet? (I'm particularly interested in a 14" model, since Samson doesn't seem to be doing one under their own brand.)

I stopped in the shop last monday for a "Sparc", and played with one on there wall and I give it 2 thumbs up. I built my whole rifle from there showroom and you guys wont be disapointed. I got there rail a couple months ago or I would be wating too. I love the triangle cutouts. MUCH better than the sampson "S" cutouts.
