This thread is for our customers. Its nice for us (and the rest of the forum) to see what you guys (and gals) have been creating out there. Its also nice for people to get ideas and ask questions about the various components.

Since Slitzer was the first member to post pictures of his build, I figured he should get the place of honor at the top.

I'm not done with mine yet.

Here is what I have so far. I post more when I'm done with building the upper.

Making use of one the excellent POF receivers I bought from you in March. I added a Bushmater piston upper and a TA31 scope. NOw I am looking for a rail system, NOT a POF system. Thanks John for the awesome service.

Nice setup, any chance on getting a picture that shows the entire weapon? The POF billet lowers real nice, and it looks like you have a good match with that upper.

Nice carbine, thats setup VERY similar to my duty weapon. Is that a fun-gun for you, or do you carry it?

Great avatar, stay safe brother.

Its a patrol rifle as soon as our range holds a rifle school, we're waiting on ammo. I still need to add a light to it, the TLR-1 pictured stays on my G17, I just didn't have a place to put it that day and the carbine had empty rail space.

Here is a larger pic of my POF-Busy project. Outside of a new poly cote, this is the closest match between any of my uppers and lowers I have owed.

With my other ARs, the color difference is more pronounced. I haven't had a chance to pick up the Sun Devil receivers I bought from you guys last week from my dealer yet, but I should be ordering a Stag 6.8mm upper shortly for the P415 receiver I purchased last month from you.

Any idea when the new MagPul magazines will be available again?

Looks good, I think we are still a couple weeks out, but I've not heard any firm time frame listed from anyone.

Latest build started out with a POF 416 lower from Rainier and added a 7.5 VIS upper. It's still a work in progress but almost complete.

I finally finished my 1st build.

Now I have to learn to shoot it and find a place where I can shoot it.

glocktastic,

Looks good, I've got 2 questions.

1. Is that going to be your duty setup?

2. Is your BUIS all the way back, or does it come back one more notch?

Stick,

1. Yes sir, for now. I have a Streamlight TLR-1 and this VFG on the way... should be here in two days...

I'm also ordering Magpul XT rail covers x3 for the sides and bottom of the rails, a Magpul ladder cover for the top, some ranger plates for my GI mags and a rubber plate for my CTR from Rainier. Still waiting for John to call!

2. The sight is on the last available notch. Do you have another recommendation?

AR by Rainier Arms. Complete Stag 3H upper, complete Stag lower, Trijicon TA31F, all purchased at Rainier Arms. I originally intended for this to be a low cost "budget build", but the ACOG quickly destroyed that theory. In a few days it will be sporting Hogue grips and a CMC trigger (on order). I'll be ordering from you guys again soon when it's BUIS time .

Thanks for a very easy and pleasurable buying experience.
Just doing the best that I can...
