While there's no pictures, I think MI hit a home run with these rails. They are light but well built, the included instructions are very clear, easy to follow if your are not doing work on an AR on a regular basis. I do like that they include torque values, this along with the retention plate, allows for an easy installation and no risk of over torque or breakage. Since I dismantled a BCM LW upper, I used their gas block that covers the fsb taper pin "scars". Once the rail was installed, it was straight, lined up well with the upper and had equal spacing around the gas block, no twisting, cant, etc. Very pleased with this addition and look forward to a couple more.
Now, I did not have on any covers. I did a short heat test, no equipment other than my MK 1 mod two hands(left anyhow) It was right about 90, full sun, left it on the mat as I used 18 rounds to zero, nine each irons and dot (Magpul front/rear & Aimpoint Micro) at 50 yards. Once that was done, shot three 30 round mags under five minutes doing a series of drills. I picked this as it is usually the typical, at or about a training evolution, a heavy volume maybe. No heat issues, while it got pretty hot, non gloved hand was still ok. If I had to run a fourth, it would've. Nothing covers or a mechanics gloves wouldn't solve. Most training may not run that many that fast, went on the heavy side to see. I seriously don't think any match would have a round count at one time where it would matter and unless you are in the business of burning barrels, would you either. Again, overall very happy and I've finally experimented with a X300 at 12:00 Now MI make a Ruger Precision Rifle MLOK rail! |

Well CRAP! Just read the "Not For Use On Gas Piston AR's" warring on your site. DANG IT!
Even if your not using an under the rail gas block????? |

The barrel nut is not standard length . We do not know what systems will work if any . Also with the handguard being ventilated we do not want fingers getting burned by gas .

Im trying to decide between the G3 Lightweight ML-series and the SSM series on may current 10.5 build using a Yankee Hill barrel. Should i be looking at the 9.25 or the 10.5 to leave enough room for a standard flash hider?

Step 13: "If you apply it anywhere else it shows you have not read the instructions and have voided the warranty."
Had me cracking up. Got the 7.25", very slim/light rail, still very stiff. Put a m-lok handstop kit on, though the m-lok slot nearest the barrel nut is not a full slot. |

I could really use an OD one. |

Black and FDE Only,
However there are some very nice OD green covers on the market. Thank you, PETE |

I ordered one. The new lock-up system looks to be a big improvement.

Are there any plans for gen 3 drop with multiple keymod and mlok attachments instead of just 3,6 and 9 o'clock?

Will the torque plate with anti rotational tabs work with other gens of MI rails?
Regardless, it looks like a MI gen 3 15" rail is in store for me |

Are you ever going to release a Adams Arms piston compatible, free float handguard in M-lok? or keymod?

The question is are they going to make a piston system with a return spring up front behind the gas block like they should. Troy MI I'm not sure how they could do that and maintain reliability. Lewis Machine & Tool learned early on regarding their piston that placing the spring close to the gas block resulted in spring overheating and weapon failure. My guess is that Adams Arms learned the same lesson. |

According to my LGS the 10.5 M-LOK is not in stock.
Any ETA??? Thanks |

Are the FDE g3's shipping? Or just black?
And finally, are the G3's still anodized so it's a bit off from Magpul FDE? |

Will this work on a DPMS GII? I see the keymod handguard for it but no M-LOK?
I like this lighter/slimmer profile... hope y'all offer it for the GII as well. |

the gen2 SS-Mlok is on the way. That will be for DPMS G2. Few weeks out. The G3 rails will not work, as stated in a few threads.

Aside from its seven sided attachment ability, how does the G3 improve upon the previous design. Specifically, is the anti-rotation method better than the previous method. Also, does the G3 anti-rotation plate bear upon the lower receiver? If so, will it mar the finish?

The 10.5" length will work with a mid length gas system with a low profile gas block, right?

Any idea if a Syrac Gen II gas block (.750) will fit under one...?
I have the block and am going to the local shop to pick up a 15" rail today... (and if not, what do you recommend for an adjustable (or not, I guess...) gas block...? |

Answer is yes, it wil fit under rail.
