Ups just dropped off my new 12" Lightweight M-LOK handguard that I ordered directly from MI.The machining quality is outstanding; very clean and smooth; not a hint of a burr to be found. Lightweight is an understatement and it looks sexxxy mated to my black rain reciever set with a fluted stainless wilson barrel. The only issue is that upon close inspection, the rear of the handguard has inconsistencies in the finish. The finish is mostly flat black, matching my recievers. There is a spot of gloss black though, kind of like oil. I tried lightly scrubbing it to no effect. The M-LOK "M" is partly discolored, 80% is grey and 20% is white. Is this normal? Am I being overly anal? I'd upload some pics but I've been out of the forum game for a few years and no longer know a good hosting site.
ETA: Resolved, Just a little oil. Cleaned up easily :) Beautiful piece. Excellent customer service
