Why doesen't CMMG make a NY compliant upper? I called and asked and was told no. This really limits my options of what upper I can get .DPMS (3 to 5 month wait), Tac Solutions, Comp. Lake(can't afford ) or a CMMG conversion, which isn't what I wanted.

Why not see if you can have the upper shipped to a company like ADCO for NY compliance modification if you're not comfortable having it shipped to your house & then mailed out?

Or just buy one of those uppers & have to barrel pinned & welded with a break on it. And just grind the bayo lug off. Repaint & you'll be gtg
