5.56x45mm
CMMG mid-length piston upper: 14.5" barrel with perm. flash hider, 1/7 twist, chrome lined, recessed target crown, 4150 steel, M4 feed ramps.
Spikes Zombie lower: Spikes lower parts kit, mil-spec CTR collapsible stock.
Optics and railed hand guard will be the next additions.

The CMMG upper is absolutely beautiful and they had it built to my specs in just about a week. Fantastic service!
I highly recommend one!

My new dedicated .22LR build.

Spikes Tactical lower receiver with a CMMG Evolution Sierra .22LR upper receiver plus a few extra parts. Swapped out the Sierra low profile front gas block for a bolt on A2 F marked unit.

I'm actually doing a Daniel Defense M4-A1 FPS RIS II but I'm still waiting on that to come in still

I've got the Magpul Furnature on several Carbines but that forward grip
is something I'm gonna have to pick up. It looks great....

Looks uncomfortable to me but I would have to try it to know. If it means I have to have it extended to the end of the rail for that "Magpul Stance" to use it, I'm not interested.

Little change to the setup, dropped the Magpul stuff. Nothing special, Mk18 MOD 0 replica build. It's getting there.... :)

I have to say, thus far I'm impressed. I was a little skeptical about buying a "clone" at first but Primary Arms sure did there homework when selecting these sights. Obviously, it's not as good as a real Aimpoint Micro, hell even Marshall, the guy who owns PA will tell you that but its WAY better quality then I expected for the price range. I say this being the owner of a real Aimpoint Comp2 and 3 EOTechs.

All of my other optics were spoken for and I just couldn't justify dropping hundreds on another optic for a .22LR weekend plinker. I think I made a good choice with this. As soon as I have a little free cash, I'm ordering this next:

http://www.primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=205&categoryId=156

I've always wanted a Trijicon TR-24 style tactical scope but I couldn't justify a $700~900.00 dollar scope plus a $200.00+ dollar mount when I already had EOTechs etc on my AR's. Considering I just do weekend shooting, that should be good enough for me.

I have the lightweight 14.5 Middy. Everyone who picks up that rifle falls in love with it. Its a basic rifle, MagPul furniture and a EOTech, that's it. But the balance and feel is just right. Of my nine AR's it just stands out as my favorite.

guess I'll post up mine in here...heres the first build up...
it started life as a stripped lower,
built it with a DPMS LPK and mated it to a 16 inch oly heavy upper with a cheap centerpoint scope
I painted it right out of the box for some coyote hunting...

in the field, no safe queens in my collection..

and how she looks today! I decided to clean it up and put some other furniture I had for it..

CMMG lower with a dpms LPK and spring treatment(10 minute trigger job)
FDE magpul stock and trigger guard,I have the FDE just havn't put it on yet..
hogue kahki/camo grip
UTG rails (dont knock them it locks up very tight and doesn't move)
LaRue FDE index clips on the rail and upper
I Kick Hippies sling plate
dpms sights
cut factory front sight....
Pack LaRue
politically uncorrect

It was rather tricky to get it to work, but it locks up pretty solid.

Easily one of my favorites in this or any other .22 AR thread. Very nice Ben! Is the MOE a midlength or carbine length?
