Wonder what the weight diffference is between the medcon and g profile? I need to get one of these, hope the wait isn't to long. |

Now I am just waiting on CMMG to build an upper to put with it. I have GOT to get me one of those to go with the 50 G3 mags I got for my CETME. What's the difference in the uppers? A little machining on the sides to clear the mag? While I'm here, I made a couple of minor changes to my M4LE recently: 0 Added Daniel Defense EZ CAR rails to hold a Spike's Havok, then threw a Korean C-Mag clone on just to make sure it weighs more than I'm allowed to lift (spine injury). |

Mods to DPMS upper for MK-8 That is the link to the mods you need to do the the upper. I am told that you can modify the DPMS upper to fit. I am hoping that CMMG is going to have the complete uppers online soon! |

I knew it was a fairly small amount that needed to be removed, and that's almost not enough to bother setting up the mill. Looks like complete lowers are going for around $400 on GB, so I might have to consider that in the near future. Now do I need another precision gun, something for work (yeah, my boss would have a kitten if I even considered carrying a 7.62 in the trunk), or a painful SBR? :D I'm thinking 16" precision gun. |

Well, I already had a CETME and 108 magazines so the choice was pretty clear since I wanted a AR platform in 308. I am just hoping to get an upper for a reasonable amount. It is so slick that I can use the same mags for both. I am going to make some shorty magazines from the two steel mags I have so I can use it to hunt with.

I've got the Magpul Furnature on several Carbines but that forward grip
is something I'm gonna have to pick up. It looks great.... Spec |
You've already missed what just happened, Forever...... The Green has become Red, it's running down your face and into your eyes and the Green Laser is now shining out the back of your head.....
Ooooops. |
Looks uncomfortable to me but I would have to try it to know. If it means I have to have it extended to the end of the rail for that "Magpul Stance" to use it, I'm not interested.

How do you like the Micro Dot?

I have to say, thus far I'm impressed. I was a little skeptical about buying a "clone" at first but Primary Arms sure did there homework when selecting these sights. Obviously, it's not as good as a real Aimpoint Micro, hell even Marshall, the guy who owns PA will tell you that but its WAY better quality then I expected for the price range. I say this being the owner of a real Aimpoint Comp2 and 3 EOTechs.
All of my other optics were spoken for and I just couldn't justify dropping hundreds on another optic for a .22LR weekend plinker. I think I made a good choice with this. As soon as I have a little free cash, I'm ordering this next: http://www.primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=205&categoryId=156 I've always wanted a Trijicon TR-24 style tactical scope but I couldn't justify a $700~900.00 dollar scope plus a $200.00+ dollar mount when I already had EOTechs etc on my AR's. Considering I just do weekend shooting, that should be good enough for me. |
