Ordered three X3-HA and two viking tactics offset light mounts on 5/2 for me and my brothers M4's. I just received them today as promised. Quality is excellent. Im planning on putting at least a hundred of rounds through my rifle. We'll see if the X3 holds up. Thanks Calvin!! Ed

Put over a hundred rounds of 55 gr fmj black hills and remington UMC through my RRA M4. Did not affect the X3-HA's at all. Overall, i am happy with the purchase.

So far everyone that's been mounting them seems to be having good results.

How would you compare the Pentagons to the Laser Devices lights?

In 6v they are very much comparable but the LDI can be slightly tighter and have a bit more throw. In 9v the LDI wins out in throw as the X3 has more flood. The LDI's win out in being smaller and being true weaponsgrade lights but the Pentagons are well worth the money too.

Mine that I posted a pic of on page 1 of this thread lasted through another few hours during the night portion of another patrol carbine class, this time it was in a shoot house.

Calvin,

How much do the Pentagon IR light (S2 4-Watt IR Illuminator) cost? I bought a SF from you in the past, but have a new PVS14, and want a little more distance. Do you carry them, and have you tried them out?

There was a posting today with photos, they look good, but only use the "competitor", which might not be a Surefire.

Looks interesting.

I'm hoping to get the S2 in tomorrow and I'll be passing one off to a buddy who has NV so that he can give it a try. I'll let you know ASAP on how well it does.

The clicker tailcaps are in now as well as the coil cord & constant on/off 'tapeswitch' units.

Are you going to be offering any kind of package deals on the Pentagon X2/X3 lights and weapon mounts like you did with the Surefire G2/6P? I'm looking for a reasonably priced light and an easily removable mount...and probably a clicker tail cap as well.

Sure, just let me know what mount you prefer and we'll work you up a good quote.

Thanks.

They're somewhat comparable as far as flood & whiteness is concerned but the X3 does have better range and of course a longer runtime.
