Initial reports are yes, they've been holding up with weapons use. Now the X2 & X3 don't have a true shock isolated bezel system but do have a very robust lamp design and more importantly they have battery retention to keep the batteries from recoiling against the lamp. I have plans of putting more rounds on the X2/X3 setups but time is always limited.

Hmm Thanks for the info, I guess I'll have to get one eventualy and check it out on my AR and see how it does. Weapon mounting it won't void the warrenty will it??

No, it shouldn't, but keep in mind normal failure of batteries & lamps are NOT covered with the warranty.

I got one of these lights (X2-HA) a few weeks ago, I have it mounted using the V-Tac (viking tactical) mount, and it works great.

A small review;

I used it during a tactical carbine class a couple weeks ago and the set-up works great. The light was mounted for about 4 hours of the class, actual usage of the light was less than the 1 hour run time, but it held up just fine.

This combo is a great deal, on what seems to be a very durable, functional light.

I'll be getting another one soon to mount on my 870.

Any idea of when you will have the tape switches available? Do you offer any mounts as well?

I'm not exactly sure when the t.switches will be in, I'll try to get an update ASAP.

As for mounts, I carry several std. ring mounts, the Abrams/VLTOR mount (due to a production error I'm waiting on a new revision to come in), the LDI ring mount, the Viking Tactics & Daniel Defense offset mount, TDI Arms polymer q.d. mount.

Brightflashlights,
The lamps are covered by a warranty? How long is the warranty?

Thanks,
Smitty

Oops, huge typo on that, batteries & lamps won't be covered but if you have an early failure right from the start you should certainly check with them and I think they'll resolve any problems appropriately.

The warranty is a limited lifetime warranty which generally means you should honestly explain what happens (so they can correct any potential problems) and if it broke under routine usage I feel confident they'll take care of it. Now for cases where you were using it to hammer nails or seeing how well it handles a four story drop then I think you're on your own (& rightfully so.)

BrightFlashlights,
Thanks for clearing that up, I figured it was just a typo but wanted to make sure.
On another note, I received my YHM 2 pc. handguards that I ordered from you. These things are the berries! I had no problems getting them on my Colt and they are very solid.

Hi, any news on the clicker style tailcaps and tapeswitches.
Any way great service on the Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard, as you can see on the picture tread it's mounted.
