They did.... Literally every vendor sold out of them within a week or two of their initial release.

Well, to be clear, some major vendors never got them in stock in the first place. I'm pretty sure Brownell's didn't. Mine is still backordered. It appears a few vendors got them in(BCM's own web site being one of the bigger ones...I think Aim may have had some initially too), several others had them available for back order and some indicated they expected to have them in stock in late January time frame. Yet they still haven't shown up.
I've seen nothing about any manufacturing issue, but I have to imagine it's something like that to cause this long of a delay. However, if that is the issue...in the name of good customer service, I would expect them to pass that information on to their vendors with an ETA if they have one, or if there is none...and at this point, I'd expect a vendor like Brownell's to have let me know if my back ordered item has an ETA or not.
However...here I am, still waiting, with two builds on hold, cause I'm interested in trying out that trigger group and these kits are priced very right. I just hope it's not much longer.
