Yeah, that's why I was asking... to see if it was the norm or not. The mount closed fine, but the strike of the round was substantially lower. Maybe I'll try it again.

Anyone else have issues running their LT660/T1 all the way forward on the receiver? The tabs seemed to be interfering with the mount to rail interface for me. I took a T1 off another gun, and put it on my KMR RECCE. Was way low and I ended up maxed out on elevation and still off. Moved the mount one notch back, and was able to zero at just about what it was adjusted to on the other gun.
I know some mounts aren't working because of those tabs, just wondering if anyone else is seeing this with the 660, as I see a few pics of setups that look like mine (like the two sets of pics above on this page).
Like mine a few posts up?? I have mine zero'd fine at 50 yards.

Not using large mounts, so can't help there but an aimpoint micro, scout (30mm) and recon (30mm)(both extended models) from american defense fit with just a "c" hair of clearance at the index clip without touching it. I had to look twice when I was mounting optics when I noticed just how close it was and other mounts I have will not work all the forward due to the clip and issues you speak of, adm's just barely squeak by.
I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear, sorry.
