Okay, went to the website and got confused trying to click on everything I was looking at and for, so I figured I would try posting here and see how it came out.
I have an LR-308 24" bull barrel. I do NOT have a 308 barrel wrench. I would like to have the barrel cut back to between 18-20 inches, depending on what length would not require the gas hole to be re-drilled, the barrel re-profiled to a lighter weight, the barrel crowned and threaded, and then I would need to select a muzzle device to go on the threads.
As I said, I do not have a 308 barrel wrench, so I would be sending the whole upper to you, and was wondering what barrel length you would recommend, how thin of a profile we could go with to reduce weight but still allow for good accuracy for a mag of 10 or 20 rounds,
I hope I have been descriptive enough and thanks in advance.
