Any idea when we might start seeing these hit the shelves?
I've got one pre-ordered at Brownell's; but I've got a build that's complete except for the stock. I'm trying to decide whether to wait for the UBR or (at least temporarily) get something else. |

Summer begins on Monday... Just sayin'!!

Would like to know as well. Of course I probably have several weeks before I get my order from Larue but hoping to complete the lower in the next few weeks.

I'm also waiting for this stock to complete my build. Some type of update would be MUCH appreciated

[#10]
Well what I thought would be a couple of weeks from Larue turned out to be only one week. Ready to build but wanted this stock. Guess I will have to go another route.

[#11]
I'm waiting for this, too.
Why do some stores like AIM say "Sold Out" if this hasn't been released yet? |

It would be nice if they updated their own forum. If there is some delay, hopefully we hear about it before the summer is over.... Yeah, doesn't look like it. |

Well, they did update their web site. It says "Summer 2016" now instead of Spring 2016.
The fact that it's already on a million vendors' web sites is confusing, too. Most of them say "out of stock" as though it is actually out. |

Update please. I do not work for Magpul, but from I've noticed over the years that Magpul does not announce anything until it's ready to go But they DID announce it -- at Shot Show with an expected delivery of Spring. We're now well into summer and it'd be nice to get some sort of official update. Right now I'm running a basic CTR on my precision rifle in anticipation of upgrading to the UBR. I've also already purchased an A5 buffer and spring --- again in anticipation of the UBR Gen 2. If it's coming soon, great. If not at least let me know so I can make other plans. |

I hate to be the bearer.... but now "COMING FALL 2016" View Quote And the MSRP just went up $10 View Quote The release date has moved to sometime this fall for some final tweaking, but the MSRP has remained the same at $199.95 ($65 cheaper than the original UBR.) |

I've had mine on order from Midway USA for about a month now. Their "advertised price" was $189.95. I don't know if this will actually be the price, or how many they will get from Magpul.
They state when I get the E-mail, to order immediately, because it is first come first serve. That's all I know... |

Good to know. Thanks. Do they charge you CC now, or wait until it ships?

Calling it: not coming out until 2017. I need one for an SBR build. Submitted the stamp on 6/9. Hopefully the stock comes out before the stamp arrives...

Yarg. My lightweight build just got delayed by the faxon pencil bbl postponement and now my heavy weight project has been put off as well.

[#39]
I'd really like an ETA. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on one of Slash's heavy buffers for a regular UBR stock for my AR-10, but I wanted to get the weight savings from the 2.0.

Midway is offering 15% off all magpul products, and they show the gen 2 UBR, but you can't preorder. BAH!!!!

It's been a busy year... but we're finishing up some testing now. The UBR GEN2 as well as the PRS GEN3 and MOE SL-S will be out sometime in December and we'll make the announcements here along with our typical social media and newsfeed releases. Stay tuned!

We did some internal design changes to tweak feel, fit, and function, and with the production demands this year, things got way slow to get into the presses. So, unfortunately, we are REALLY late on some things. Apologies. UBR should be ready to ship before or around SHOT 2017. PRS and SL-S will be in December. Building now.
