Magpul, why don't you guys make 5 round limiters for the 20 round Gen M3 mags?
I see you make a minus 5 and 10 round limiter but nothing to get the 20 rounder down to 5 rounds for hunting. I don't know about most people but I prefer the length of the 20 round magazine when hunting because it's easier to get spares in and out of a pouch.
I know I could buy a 10 round mag and put the minus 5 in but those are just too short for my tastes.
Also WHY NO SAND colored GLOCK PMags? I was excited when you guys released news of these new GLOCK mags but now that they are here I just don't see the point. My LGS wants $20.00 each for them and online they are like $15.00 dollars, hell I can buy brand new factory GLOCK 17 mags for $20.00 dollars and get free shipping if I buy a few. I would rather spend a couple bucks more for factory metal lined mags with the indicator holes.
If these would have come in at $8.00~10.00 I may have been more interested.
Now what WOULD have interested me was SAND color so I could dye them for quick indication of various ammo types. For example bright red for SD ammo, blue for range ammo, maybe green for 147gr Ranger T but I would know orange is my 124gr HST's. Then after the main base color is dyed, I would dip do the bottom inch or so in black so when inserted into my GLOCK 17, they match the Black frame.
I would have been much more excited about that.
One of my buddies was all excited he scored 10 of them at $15.99 each and all I could say was wouldn't you have rather have spend $4.00 dollars more per mag on meta lined factory mags?
I did buy one just to check them out, I mean they work but not enough of a savings to make me go out and buy a dozen. Everyone keeps saying "cheap range mags" but they are hardly less noticeable in price than factory mags!
Go do a run of SAND, I'll pay $15.00 a pop for those! :)
