Ok, I already ordered the MBUS just because it was available and I MIGHT like it better, but to those that have one already or played with one at SHOT. What are the benefits of the MBUS versus the ARMS besides the obvious price difference and color matching?

I was trying to find the weight but had no luck. Opinions?

MBUS weight: 38.3 grams
ARMS 40L weight: 47.0 grams

Besides the weight and price saving, one of the best features about the MBUS is the gross motor skill movement to get it in action. Where most other BUIS require a button, lever, or some finger dextarity to activate, the MBUS can be acticvated from any side. The left lever, right lever, or hitting the top with a chopping motion of the hand. If in the event a shooter loses a electronic dot in a fight, he would continue to shoot instinctivly throught the tube (optic) then find cover or at first lull or opportunity would chop the MBUS into action with one very fast efficient gross motor movement which in the end increase the shooters survivability rate.

Thanks Travis, yes I agree the method of activation looks way simpler to do under stress than the 40L, especially when my magnifier is swung to the side. Looking forward to getting it in!

The only advantage of the 40L is its low profile if you need it to fit under an optic.

Is the MBUS not low profile? I thought it was. Would the MBUS fit under an EOTECH magnifier?
