Long-time lurker here...Decided I should join since I ordered a 16" mid-length rifle kit yesterday. Pics and a range report to come as soon as it's assembled and I get some free time.

Great to hear! It'll be another 6 weeks before I'll be able to put it through some tests, but I can't wait to receive it, get it put together and put a couple hundred through it in the meantime.

You're going to like them. We went out yesterday and my 16" Hbar Middy was holding 8" groups at 300 yards. My daughter popped a clay pigeon at three hundred yards with her 16" Light Weight Middy . Only took her three shots, I think she may be a better shot than me.

Mine just came in, very nice! Semi-auto BCG, but no biggie, I ordered from JSE surplus or I could have specified an M16 BCG. Fit and finish are excellent, i'll take her out for a few rounds later.
BTW, JSE surplus is GTG in my book, fastest shipping ever, 4 working days from order to my door, can not beat that, and they sent me a cool little keychain size multitool with a pouch, excellent customer service and killer price, 390.00 plus shipping for a 16" middy HBAR.

I feel bad...I called earlier this week to find out how long it would be to receive the kit and canceled the order after finding out it would be 4-6 weeks. Totally my fault. I didn't notice the shipping time noted when I checked out.
I ended up paying a lot more for BCM upper parts and DD LPK, but I didn't want to wait. Thanks to Laura for the great customer service. I will definitely recommend Del-Ton to friends looking to build soon! |
