I've bought several ar15 kits but I'm starting to believe they don't have a 308 program. They sure don't update potential buyers with much info.

It is only because we do not have a firm ETA on the release. We do not produce every component in house and sometimes there are delays with other manufacturers. We do not have enough downtime on our machines to produce the lacking components. We have added a few machines but it takes a while to set them up with programs. We have always had the 5.56 as our main focus, which we have standing orders for. To stop producing them, with standing orders, to work on a rifle that we have yet to produce would not be in the best interest of our paying customers.

We are getting closer and closer, but still no firm ETA.

Are these rifles gonna be billet or forged? 6061 T6 or 7075 T6 upper/lower? Thanks!

Bought a RRA LAR-8 middy couldn't wait any longer on something that may never happen. If they get it together maybe I can add a second 7.62 AR platform rifle.

I wish you could pick up the pace as well I will be buying a semi .308 soon and would like a del ton to match my other 4 del ton rifles... Not sure what you meant by "paying customers" but I do consider myself a "paying customer"...

Meaning: Customers that have already submitted an order that may/may not have the money collected for their build. We are trying to take care of the orders that we have in "process".

We have picked up the pace, in fact it has probably more than doubled, if not tripled in certain areas....there is just that much demand right now. I want one too, so you can believe I'm doing my fair share of nagging (which I'm very good at ), but it is just not feasible with demands for 5.56 right now.

Keep up the good work with the 5.56 rifles and I will be happy with an AR-10 style rifle whenever they come

We all need these 4 things...

1) someone that loves you
2) something to be proud of
3) something to do
4) something to look forward to

I am good with 1, 2, & 3.

#4 is an AR chambered in .308 from Del-Ton!

#4a - With a nitrided barrel / option! Save time and money getting those pesky barrels treated in bulk instead of waiting endlessly for the chromers. Either that or a kit sans chrome-lined barrel .......

I would like to see someone else come out with one that takes FAL mags other then RRA. Some of us would like to be able to have mags over 10 rounds and chrome lined barrels which RRA does not offer
