You shoot it yet? Oh yeah, several range trips and rds down range.....not one issue. Just added the M3 though...so that needs to get a test this weekend if time/weather hold out. I am very pleased and will buy again. |

I'll play. Del-ton M4 upper, CL 1x9 with M4 ramps. DPMS forged lower. Magpul goodness, Battlecomp up front, Primary Arms Micro-Dot. Seen 500 flawless rds, about twice that in 22lr with a CMMG conversion. Will eventually replace the bolt with a BCM, for now it has the upgraded extractor kit with spring/insert and o-ring.

Got this in today. Improvised connection until I either replace the missing takedown detents that launched across the room or determine that the pieces of coathanger I used will hold. |

Could I get you to take a picture of the magazine next to the stock on the rifle? |

its a BCM but i thought id include it anyways http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa419/Nate_Milatz/snipper.jpg shoots about MOA with Herters.. havent had time to get a good handload yet. |
|
i didnt measure that closely one string of 10 was right at 1" another was about 1.2" .
shot some handloads but those mostly went to the steel plate. the trigger was absolutely killing me though.. i think a good trigger job or 2stage would do wonders. im sure its a sub-moa rifle... the BCM i mostly shot off hand so was managing 4-6" groups but thats with irons etc all ammo was 55gr |
|
The weapon only aids the shooter; the shooter is the one who lays the groups in my opinion. Mine is lightweight and easy for me to swing from target to target, even being a 20".

Can you show me a close-up of the logo and let me know where you got it done and how much it cost?
Thanks! |

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g217/jpdopes/IMG_3428.jpgI got the upper on Wed. about 4 weeks after ordering. 16" Lightweight CL Middy. Because I live in a ban state I had to cut off the bayo lug and perm. attach the FCS556 comp. My KISS rifle. I love the light weight and balance of this rifle. I'll soon add a stock extender to add an inch to the stock––then it will be pretty close to perfect IMHO.

It's obviously a work in progress. Next comes a MIAD and CTR |

Great looking AR, Grin! Love the 20" barrels and the A4 look. How do you like the lightweight barrel? If you've handled a govt. profile 20" before, is the LW better in your opinion?
Rugger |

Chowley, very nice. This is exactly what I'm looking to build for a KISS carbine, except mine will have a 16" LW mid-length. Love the full A2 rear sight for lower third co-witness, red dot, the white light, and that's it. Pretty much perfect!

Rugger In my opinion, this one handles VERY nicely compared to the Govt or heavies. I would prefer a 14.5 LW just for the control and weight, but this one suits my purposes better at this time. |

It's a Vortex StrikeFire with the included high mount that I got from PA. I will be adding a buis in the future, probably a Magpul MBUS. |

My first AR! DTI 1/7 Chrome Lined Middy with YHM lite FF rail, Nikon Pro-Staff 4x12, Magpul AFG and MBUS... I havent shot it yet, but everything about it seems to be top notch. Will get back with a range report as soon as it happens.
