New guy here.First off,thank you to all who posted before me.I am no hero either but here goes...USRA 1975-1978,67V Helicopter Crew Chief,Illesheim West Germany.Aircraft Crewman Badge,Good Conduct Medal,Sharpshooter, SP-4, and that's about it for that stuff.Got out and got my FAA A&P mechanics license.Started working at Ft.Rucker on the Helicopter Maintenence contract.I am still there but I moved into the ALSE shop three years ago. Too darn hot on the flightline.But while I was out there I worked on just about everything the Army has had with rotor blades on it in the last 30 years.Overall it has been a great way to earn a living.Life member of the Army Aviation Museum Foundation.Nice to meet you all,and if I may say so,quite a distinguished group we have here.Here is what I looked like 30 years ago:

The usual deployments and a few trips to the sandbox and some schools.  Best time of my life.  I met four of the best wives i have ever had.  I met 1000 of the coolest friends a man could be blessed to have.  No regrets and now on to other things( nothing "better" just other)!
