I'm looking for a light that can be attached to the epaulet or somewhere else on my uniform (LEO). I don't have an outer vest and wear the typical polyester uniform.

I am just looking for a hands free option for reading driver licenses at night.

Thanks in advance.

There are lights that go in your shirt pocket.

I bought a Streamlight stylus pro USB which has a clip which goes in my shirt pocket. Another plus is that it's very nice for searches compared to looking in small spots with my rather large primary flashlight.

Just about any light small enough with a pocket clip will do.

I never found one that I'd have wanted hanging up there all the time to make it worth the small amount I used it at night.

I used the spill off the spotlight or my penlight or the spill off my primary tucked under my arm.

Kids at work are hanging the Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA Lights on their epaulet close to their patch. It's a really unobtrusive deal that works pretty well.

I use the Quiglight that the other poster mentioned.  They are pretty slick (I have the USB rechargeable version).

Quiklite or if you can find one, black & decker made one similar to the quiklite about 7 years ago. It has red, green and white light. I bought a couple at Walmart, wearing one right now.

Camoman,

This is what your looking for:  http://streamlight.com/en/products/detail/index/clipmate-usb

I clip it under the flap of my shirt pocket so only the flexible neck is visible.  It has a red and a white LED with multiple brightness options.

Minimum brightness works perfect for running D/L's writing cites, max works great for searching evidence and field presumptive chemical tests.

The LED's are shrouded and the light is directed where you want it which is perfect for not highlighting yourself like those who stick a giant flashlight under their arm.

It has a Lithium battery and a few hours charge lasts me all week working Midnights.

I highly recommend it.

I use a stream light Pro-Tac 2L. I slide the body of the light under the epaullet and the pocket clip on top. Left shoulder.

Been running this one on the range and on patrol for the last month or so.
Everyone was laughing at me at first but started asking if we could get them on our uniform allowance after seeing how well it lights things up for being so small.
USB recharge for an advertised 300 charges, and a relatively low price with the Streamlight name is/ are a plus.
