Anyone know of a place that sells used ASPS?  I just switched to a new agency that doesn't issue them but allows them. I'd rather not spend $100 on a new one.

And yeah, yeah. I know they are only good for scratching your back and knocking down spider webs...  Sometimes I need to do those things!

There's gotta be some surplus shop online selling them...

Thanks!

I bought a used one at a gunshow 15+ years ago with a bladetech sidebreak scabbard for half price.  They're out there, but other then Ebay or LEEDs ( they got bought and changed names recently) I couldn't think of anyone possibly selling used ASPs.

Make sure you buy an auto lock and not a friction lock. Friction lock is a pain to close.

I have an ASP that is friction lock and about 25.5" AOL.

It's yours for free if you want... I won't ever use it and we don't carry them. It will come with a black basket-weave leather holder.

I was going to suggest the EE, as they appear there from time to time, but the good gentleman above me seems to have the deal of the year for you.

Indeed he does.  And thanks to his generosity, my search is over.  Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Hope the one offered works out!!

I would go for the longest you can tolerate, steel, no lightweight aluminum, and if you do purchase a used one, see if they will disassemble and take pics so you can inspect for cracks or other issues only visible on the inner workings.

Be safe!!!
