I am trying to find out the certification status of someone who claims to be LEO certified in the state but I'm not coming up with any sources. I know FL Department of Education shows the status of educators teaching certificate. Is there something similar to check LEO certificate status in Florida?

Thanks in advance

State of Florida Certification

You may be able to find out at the above link.  Most states have to grant certification to be employed as an LEO in that state.

In FL you don't become certified until you are hired at an agency. He should be able to tell you which agency he is at or has worked at.

If you know any accreditation managers you could ask them to check ATMS.

This.

Just rely on the previous agency. If you know someone who has access to ATMS that's even better. ATMS is the FDLE database that basically verifies certification and which agencies he's worked for in FL.
