Suffered some burns on the ears, forearms. The inner liner of my coat was scorched pretty well. My crew and I had entered the basement for a search, reported that the homeowner was still inside in the basement. We'd entered through a sliding glass door with two PW cans (Rescue Co.) and managed to get most of the basement searched before deciding it was getting dicey, and turned to get out, making my guys leave first. It flashed as the first guy was within a few feet of the door. I pushed my second guy out as it got the most intense. They were uninjured, I got a few first and second degree burns.    

Turns out the homeowner was a 'Nam vet with some pretty bad PTSD, and he'd decided to light his place off after thinking "Charlie" was hiding in the basement. Fire in the basement and climbing the stairs to the first floor as we entered. Even better, just 30 minutes after we cleared the scene with the engine co. and FM, we were redispatched to the same address and arrived with fire on all three floors and through the roof. Dude had torched the place again just after we left.
