Did my physical and UA for the new job today.  Sitting in the same Dr's office I took Physical to become a cop in.  There were some great days on the road, the last four  years working in a college as a cop.  When you not only have to answer to your Chief  but justify your actions to Deans and councilors that have never spent a day outside of Academia , it sucks.  Was called "A Traffic NAZI" for pulling over a dean for doing 43 in a 20. (The Chief told me not to write the cite) Arresting a heroin dealer got "Why didn't you get his name and just refer him to counseling, most people want help"  To working with one of the most pathetic excuses for a cop and being told "You need to work with him, he has things he can teach you"  Like having a negligent discharge in the office that he lied about to several people and was never punished, having him point his firearm at me several times , trigger on the finger  while searching for and armed suspect and was told "Well, he was nervous and it all worked out , so let it go"    This is also the same nitwit that missed a Code 0  less than a mile away because "I was listening to the other net, I guess I kinda missed it"         I just hope I never have to talk to another victim again.

Either way good luck

I don't think I could work at a college.  A friend of mine got a complaint on him for being discriminatory to ninjas.

Good luck and congratulations for surviving your last few years working with a guy who sounds a bit dangerous.

This.

I left over 10 years ago and while I may miss the clowns, I don't miss the circus one bit.
