After 10 long months I finally get the call. I start with a local PD next week and start academy next month. Been a long process and I'm excited to start this career. Spent 6 years serving my country now it's time for my community. Thank you to though who posted here and shared valuble info to help with the new career path. That is all!

If you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself...

Thank you everybody. This is the 5th dept I have applied for, The others had budget cuts and what not and I could never seem to catch a break. But persistance pays off!
