It is a crazy year so far. Economy ? Probably hasn't helped.

Prospects don't look much better for the summer.

Just be careful out there.

The Navy SEALs did not die for our freedom. They died because they have a clueless commander-in-chief who, upon visiting a military base last year, told the troops, "You guys make a great photo-op."

Sad News on the Blackberry this morning before I go on shift;

Louisiana Dept. Wildlife and Fisheries Sgt. Paul Stuckey, age 47, of Zachary.
End of watch Sept 30, 2011. Tour 18 years.

Sgt. Stuckey was last reported responding to night hunting at 2:15am.

Deputies stated his body was found by local fishermen next to his patrol vehicle with a shotgun wound to the chest at the old ferry landing on the Mississippi outside of St. Francissville.
Suspect details aren't available at this time.

Rest in Peace brother,

Just got this one from a thread in GD from MP15T:

http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2011/10/12/deadly-shooting-in-lower-burrell-under-investigation/

The fallen officers name is all over Facebook now, so i will go ahead and post it.

His name was Derek Kotecki and leaves behind a wife and two young kids.

He was the Lower Burrell Canine Police Officer.
