Now, ladies... In a couple weeks I am getting muh hurr did. I never get a pro color, but this time I am. Now, originally I was going to copy this chick on Instagram I idolize, and do this: 
But then she changed it to this and I really, really like this too 
WWAD (What would arfettes do) My current faded brown hair so you get an idea of my coloring.

Not an arfette, but I concur with these rapscallions above me.
The darker red really sets off her complexion and eye color, and would do the same for yours. I think you'd be quite striking as a red head. |

I love the red. However, have you thought about a nice dark brown? I've got a fair bit of gray mixed in my very dark brown, but a nice glossy dark brown color made all the difference. ETA: we need pics of the dress.

Took three colorings to get my hair that light, with the darker dye in it. I usually slap on some boxed hair dye on my head once every few months. I have a very ash brown hair. No pretty reds or golds, just blah brown. So I embellish, with prettier browns. I haven't dyed it since the beginning of last october. I'll be glad to get rid of my green-brown roots. |

I ran by the salon and paid 150. 00 for it and then had a meeting I had to go to so didn't see the daughter unit until the next morning. When she got out of bed her hair was PURPLE. It looked like the stylist just threw purple pain on her hair. I was there when we showed the picture of what we wanted. It was striped and not a gradual change or blended. Her hair was beautiful and down to the small of her back. It took 200.00 to fix it and she lost 6 inches of hair. Before we found someone who could fix it I asked for my money back and they refused to give it back. I had to talk with the owner. I wasn't ugly or loud or mad. I simply said the stylist should have told my daughter she couldn't do it. And if they can't fix it they need to refund my money. No drama. Just straight forward fair business. The girl refused to give the tip back. Whatever... more worried about my daughters hair as this was a prep for prom. I had been going to this place for 8 years. It got stranger there.... I went back a month later to get my hair done and my card had been shredded. The woman who destroyed my daughters hair said I sent her flowers and apologized and baked her cookies. She had concocted this huge lie. I ended the appointment and left. It took me a year to located another salon I could afford and didn't have to deal with all that. |
