I need your help, and it will take very little of your time!!

This would definitely be super-quick, and I would REALLY appreciate the help.  Basically, I would send you an email with a 2-page survey that has a short description of a situation, and a single question about that situation.  The second page has a few questions about your age, education level, marital status, etc.  You would just read it, answer the questions and email it back to me.

The survey is completely anonymous.  Your name is nowhere on the survey, and I do not want (or need) your name.  As soon as I get the survey back, I will delete your email - so there's no way to ever know who filled out which survey.  The survey has nothing whatsoever to do with guns or anything related to ar15.com.  It's about a simple yes/no medical decision about treatment following an accident.  

For this part of the study, you have to be a woman, and you have to be 20 years old or older to participate.  

This has been approved by my university's Human Subjects Research review board.  (And a requirement is that your name or email CANNOT be retained in the data, and will be immediately deleted).

If you are interested in participating, then please shoot me an IM and include an email address that I can send the survey to.  The survey is a Word document.  As soon as I receive the survey back via email, I will delete your IM and your email, and will just keep the anonymous survey you filled out.

I really hope I can convince lots of you to help out.  The more people the better!!!

It might be a while, because I am also collecting data from other sources - including some classes of graduate students.

But once I have all of the data I need, I will be happy to report on the results.

... of course, it's possible that this round of results will just raise new questions (in terms of the underlying issue I am trying to understand better), and I I'll need to refine the study, or design a new one, and collect more data.
