How many holsters do you have in your box of not quite right holsters? If most people buy several to find the right one, why would you expect that strangers on the internet who don't know your wife would be able to choose one for her.
Get a Fobus. Thats what the yahoos at the local gun shop are always trying to sell me. They must be good. If it really matters, i wear a G19 or G17, AIWB with a VGII. Prior to that I used a modified Compac Infidel for the 19 and a Bladetech OWB for the 17. |

I'm asking strangers on the internet cause some of those strangers happen to be female and some of those females happen to have possibly shopped for IWB holsters. A females body is built differently from a males and I don't know what holsters fit better for a female and what doesn't. Hence the question. Besides the only fobus IWB holster is designed for glocks. If you read my post I mentioned she is getting a S&W. |

The problem with me giving advice for your wife is that despite us both being female we probably don't have much else in common.
That being said Comp-Tec makes excellent IWB holsters that are worth the $$. |

It's going to be hit or miss until she finds the one that fits just right for her. I would suggest emailing Craig and Audrey at Lighting Arms. When I was looking they were able to give me recommendations based on being female and the weapon I was carrying at the time. That gave me a direction to start. There are SOOO many holsters it is overwhelming at times. I've just found a local guy who made me a fantastic leather holster for my M&P (full size) and it fits me like a glove. Good luck with your search!

I like my comp-tac minotaur a lot. I carry a HK P30 in it every single day. I am however... not thrilled with the belt clips on it. They could be sturdier. They often come off my belt. I've been told this is a belt issue and not a holster issue so I'm going to do some experimenting and see.

This is going to sound really mean and I don't intend it to but I had her try a regular nylon pancake holster I had laying around and we found that she's too thick. Now shes not sure how she wants to carry it. She already said she doesn't want to carry SOB. Maybe now she will start working out with me like I've asked her to.
